Start of our Journey

Well we are off to a great start. Rhonda and I made it to Toronto on time.  Both of us had no issues getting to the Cleveland. We are now waiting at the airport waiting for access to the gate where our next flight to Addis Abba leaves. Hopefully the rest of our flights go well.

One of the funny incidences so far with all of us flying out is that our guide Steve Taylor couldn't get on his morning flight yesterday because the door wouldn't close. He left last night where he flies through Istanbul.  He is not suppose to be in Killamanjaru until an hour after us.  So I hope we all make it.

One site that you might want to check out is www.africaanswerman.com.  Jim Heck who owns the travel agency we used had a story on Tuesday about how airlines control GSC codes. These codes tell you what routes can be connected. So many of those connections aren't released to the public. Any way you might want to check this blog out since he is also leading a safari at the same time we are there.  I hope I get to meet him before we start our trip. He will post some of his safari as well.

Well that's all for now until tomorrow. Have a great day and safe journeys.
